About Compact Sweepers

Compact Sweepers Ltd was started in 2003 by ex-Johnston employee Matthew Quick and is engaged in the sale, hire and service/repair and refurbishment of road sweepers.  We also supply OEM spares and brushes.

Compact Sweepers Ltd has two facilities, head office and workshop in Ash Vale Surrey (30 miles south of London) and a further workshop facility in Kings Lynn, Norfolk.  Both workshops are well equipped with machine shop facilities, lifting gear and specialist hydraulic test equipment

Compact Sweepers Ltd employs four full time technicians based two at each of the workshops, one full time administrator and one mobile service engineer.  All our technicians are Johnston trained and hold CSCS Cards.

We specialise in Sales, Service and refurbishment of Johnston Compact and C Range precinct sweepers. Working with and on behalf of many local authorities and blue chip companies.

We have also built several special sweepers to customers own specifications, including two machines for removing the rubber from runways (supplied to the Lebanon 2006) which had split chemical/water tanks, full width rear suction, high pressure water (140 bar 50 ltrs/p/min) and a ‘power scrub’ center brush.
